The hideout was welcome addition, adding three new challenges to shake up the core gameplay, which does indeed become repetitive towards the end game. There isn't much of a story behind the character and his motivation is a mystery. It's difficult enough to be just the right amount of frustrating which, paradoxically enough, is a quality that keeps me coming back for more.Īs fun and engaging as this game is, it still leaves a bit to be desired in terms of content. I may not devote the same amount of time to games as I used to, but I still want to be entertained.
To that end, there's no shortage of quick one-off games for me to play, but most are severely lacking in quality and depth. But even when I do have the time, I find myself unwilling to invest more than a few hours at a time to any one game. I guess you could also chalk it up to the fact that I have a lot less free time than I used to. Too short now to enjoy the games of my youth. It appeals to the ever growing subset of people with short attention spans.
